Discreet, thorough cleanup after a death that went undiscovered. We clean and decontaminate the affected area, treat the odor, and document the work from start to finish. Locally owned and operated, based in Warner Robins and serving all of Georgia.
We work from the outside in, toward the main scene, and clean as we go, so nothing is carried from the affected area into the rest of the home.
What we don’t do: we don’t rebuild or repair. Our work is removing and decontaminating whatever can cause biohazard-related health problems. Once we’re done, a contractor can rebuild what we removed.
How long an unattended-death cleanup takes depends mostly on how long the person was there before they were found, and on how far the contamination spread. It can take a couple of days at the shortest, and a week or two when the decomposition is severe or a lot has to be taken apart structurally, such as subfloor or drywall.
We also have to allow time for the odor work. The air scrubbers need to keep running, and other odor treatments need time to do their job, so the odor is actually gone and not just covered up. Timing also depends on how early we can get on site, whether materials must be special-ordered, our crew’s availability and other jobs that day. You get a realistic timeline with your estimate.
Safety is our priority: everything that is contaminated gets decontaminated, and the work is performed in accordance with OSHA and Georgia regulations. Disposal manifests are available on request once the waste facility returns them to us.
No. We remove and decontaminate the affected materials. We don’t rebuild or repair, so a contractor handles the reconstruction once our work is finished.
Often, yes. Homeowner’s and renter’s policies commonly cover biohazard cleanup, and we work directly with adjusters.
No. This is specialized cleaning, not routine housekeeping. Blood and other body fluids can carry bloodborne pathogens, so the right chemicals, the right methods and the right protective equipment all matter. If the work isn’t done properly, contamination can be left behind and spread through the rest of the home or building, and it can cause disease and other health problems.
That’s why this work has to follow OSHA and state regulations and guidelines, and why contaminated waste has to be disposed of properly and in the proper place, so it doesn’t affect other people. Our job is to clean and decontaminate everything that was affected, to help protect the family, the neighbors, the property staff and the next people who live there from disease and other health risks. OSHA: Bloodborne Pathogens
Biohazard work carries real risks, and no cleanup can promise a space is 100% risk-free. What we can promise is that the work is done to OSHA and state standards, by trained people, with every step documented.
